If you've quietly typed pelvic floor treatment near me into Google, you're in very good company. Weakness after children, after the menopause, or after years of high-impact exercise is extremely common — and almost nobody talks about it.
At Lanesse Wellness in Stratford-upon-Avon I offer the RenaSculpt pelvic pad: a non-invasive HIFEM treatment you have fully clothed, sitting down, with no examination, no undressing and no downtime.
How it works
HIFEM stands for High-Intensity Focused Electromagnetic energy. The pad sends focused electromagnetic pulses through clothing into the pelvic floor muscles, triggering supramaximal contractions — far stronger and far more frequent than you can achieve voluntarily.
One 30-minute session delivers the equivalent of around 11,000 Kegel exercises — full, deep, consistent contractions of the whole muscle sling. Over a course, the muscles thicken and regain tone, improving the support they give the bladder, bowel and pelvic organs.
Who it helps
- Women after childbirth who feel weakness, heaviness or poor control
- Anyone leaking when they cough, sneeze, laugh, run or lift
- Women going through or past the menopause
- Runners, riders and gym-goers with high-impact loading
- Men with post-prostate-surgery weakness (with GP clearance)
- Anyone who has tried Kegels and was never sure they were doing them right
It is not a substitute for medical care. If you have pain, prolapse symptoms or a new change in bladder or bowel habit, please see your GP or a pelvic health physiotherapist first — I'm very happy to work alongside them.
What a session is like
You sit fully clothed on the pad. It builds gradually — a tapping sensation that becomes a strong, rhythmic pull deep in the pelvis. It's odd for the first minute and then simply feels like work being done for you. Read, scroll or chat for 30 minutes, then stand up and drive home.
Prices in Stratford-upon-Avon
