Cellulite Reduction, Skin Tightening & Fat Melting
Our most effective non-surgical answer to cellulite, loose skin and stubborn fat pockets. In one appointment, ultrasonic cavitation melts the fat pushing up the dimples while radiofrequency tightens and thickens the skin above them — smoothing thighs, tummy, bottom and arms from our studio in Stratford-upon-Avon.

Cellulite-first treatment
Why cellulite responds best to this exact combination
Cellulite is not just fat — it is fat pushing up through tight connective bands while the skin above has lost its spring. Diet and exercise shrink fat cells, but they rarely smooth the dimpled surface. Cavitation reduces the fat volume; radiofrequency rebuilds the collagen “net” holding the skin down. Together they target the two causes of cellulite in a single 60–75 minute session.
Cavitation
Melts the fat pushing up between the bands
Radiofrequency
Tightens and thickens the skin above
Lymphatic flow
Drains puffiness and water retention
Why we pair them
Melt the filling, shrink the wrapper
Think of the treated area as a cushion. Cavitation takes some of the stuffing out; radiofrequency shrinks the cover back down so it sits smooth instead of baggy — the key reason this pairing is so effective for cellulite. Do only one and you get half the result: a firmer but still bulky area, or a slimmer area with looser skin.
Cavitation
Empties the fat pockets
Radiofrequency
Tightens the skin above them
The science · part one
How fat cavitation works — the bubble bath
Imagine your fat cells are like little sponges filled with oily water.
- • The machine sends gentle, low-frequency sound waves into the fat layer.
- • Those sound waves create millions of tiny bubbles in the fluid around the fat cells — like the bubbles in a fizzy drink.
- • When the bubbles pop, they release a tiny shock of energy that gently breaks the walls of the fat cells.
- • Your skin, muscle and blood vessels are left untouched — only the fat cells are affected.
- • Your lymphatic system then flushes the released fat away naturally over the next few days — like a drain carrying bathwater down the plughole.
In technical terms, low-frequency ultrasound causes cavitation bubbles to form and collapse inside fat tissue. This disrupts fat-cell membranes, releasing triglycerides into the interstitial fluid, where they are processed by the lymphatic system and liver. The frequency is tuned to fat tissue, so skin, muscle and vessels remain unaffected.
The science · part two
How radiofrequency works — the elastic bands
Imagine your skin is held up by thousands of tiny elastic bands. Those bands are called collagen.
- • When you’re young, the bands are tight and springy — so your skin looks firm and smooth.
- • Over time, or after weight changes and pregnancy, the bands get stretched and looser.
- • Radiofrequency uses gentle heat to warm those bands up.
- • The heat makes them tighten and shrink back, like a stretched elastic band pinging back.
- • The warmth also wakes up your skin’s own “factories” to make brand new elastic bands.
So the skin gradually looks tighter, firmer and smoother over the following weeks — because the collagen is literally rebuilding itself. RF energy is colour-blind and safe for all skin tones, with very low risk of hyperpigmentation.
Cellulite reduction
How we smooth cellulite without surgery
Picture a mattress held together by buttons. The stuffing (fat) pushes up between the buttons (connective tissue bands) and the cover (skin) has lost its stretch. That puckering is cellulite — and it is why dieting alone rarely smooths it. Our combined treatment works on both sides of the problem at once.
- • Cavitation reduces the stuffing pushing up between the bands, so the fat pockets flatten.
- • Radiofrequency tightens and thickens the cover so the dimples are less visible and the skin looks firmer.
- • The warmth boosts circulation and lymph flow, so the puffiness and water retention around the area settles.
- • Add lymphatic drainage massage and the released fat clears faster still.
Most clients see a visible improvement in skin texture and dimpling over a course of 6 sessions on one area, with tightening continuing for 3–6 months as new collagen forms.

Contraindications — when this isn’t suitable
Radiofrequency and cavitation are non-invasive and very well tolerated, but they aren’t right for everyone. Please tell Lana at your free consultation if any of the following apply:
- • Pregnancy or breastfeeding
- • Pacemaker, defibrillator or any implanted electrical device
- • Metal implants, plates or pins in the treatment area
- • Liver or kidney disease (the body clears released fat through them)
- • High cholesterol or uncontrolled diabetes
- • Active or recent cancer treatment
- • Epilepsy
- • Bleeding disorders or blood-thinning medication
- • Active infection, open wounds, eczema or psoriasis in the area
- • Recent surgery or hernia in the treatment area
- • IUD or coil (we simply avoid treating over the lower abdomen)
- • Under 18
If you are on medication or under the care of a specialist, check with your GP first. Where the combination isn’t suitable, we will often be able to recommend an alternative such as HI-EMT muscle toning or lymphatic drainage massage.

Frequently asked questions
Why are radiofrequency and cavitation done together for cellulite?
Cellulite has two parts: fat pushing up through connective bands, and skin that has lost its firmness above them. Cavitation empties the fat pockets underneath and radiofrequency tightens the skin above them. Doing one without the other can leave you either firmer but still bulky, or slimmer with looser skin. Together, in one appointment, you melt the fat and shrink the skin envelope at the same time — which is why it is our go-to cellulite reduction treatment.
Does it really help cellulite?
Yes. Cellulite is fat pushing up through a net of connective tissue while the skin above it has lost springiness. Cavitation shrinks the fat pushing up, radiofrequency rebuilds the collagen holding the skin down, and the improved circulation helps drain the puffiness between them. Most clients see visibly smoother, less dimpled skin over a course of 6 sessions on one area.
What does it feel like?
Warm and relaxing. Radiofrequency feels like a warm stone massage; cavitation adds a faint high-pitched buzz you hear more than feel. No needles, no anaesthetic, no downtime — you can go straight back to work or the gym.
How many sessions will I need?
A course of 6 sessions on one area, spaced 5–7 days apart, is the standard plan. Inch loss often shows after the first two or three; skin tightening keeps building for 3–6 months as new collagen forms.
Who should not have this treatment?
Pregnancy or breastfeeding, pacemakers or implanted electrical devices, metal implants in the treatment area, liver or kidney disease, high cholesterol or uncontrolled diabetes, active cancer, epilepsy, bleeding disorders or blood-thinning medication, active infection, open wounds or eczema in the area, and recent surgery in the area. Always tell us at your free consultation so we can plan safely.
