I didn't come to lymphatic drainage massage as a business idea. I came to it because I felt awful.
It started with bloating I couldn't explain
For a long stretch I woke up puffy. My stomach felt swollen by mid-morning regardless of what I'd eaten, my ankles and fingers felt tight, my face looked heavier than it should, and I was permanently sluggish — that flat, foggy tiredness that no amount of sleep fixes.
I did what most women do first. Cut things out. Drank more water. Blamed hormones, blamed stress, blamed age. Nothing shifted it for long.
What I learned about the lymphatic system
When I started reading properly, one thing stood out: your circulation has a pump — the heart. Your lymphatic system doesn't. It relies on movement, breathing and muscle contraction to shift fluid and waste through its vessels and nodes.
So if you sit at a desk, travel, are stressed, have been unwell, are going through hormonal change, or you're recovering from surgery, that flow gets sluggish. And when it does, fluid and waste sit where they shouldn't. That was my bloating. That was the heaviness.
I trained in lymphatic drainage so I could do something about it — first for myself, then properly, as a qualified therapist.
What changed for me
Within a few sessions the difference was obvious enough that people noticed before I mentioned it. Flatter stomach. Less puffiness around my face and eyes. Lighter legs at the end of the day. Better sleep. And the brain fog lifted, which I honestly hadn't expected.
It isn't a deep tissue massage. The pressure is deliberately light and rhythmic, because the lymph vessels sit just under the skin. Most clients find it the most relaxing hour they've had in months — several fall asleep.
The benefits I see in clients every week
- Reduced bloating and a visibly flatter stomach
- Less fluid retention in legs, ankles and hands
- A less puffy, more defined face and jawline
- More energy and less of that heavy, sluggish feeling
- Faster recovery after surgery or cosmetic procedures
- Better sleep and a genuine drop in stress
- Faster, better results from fat freezing, RF and cavitation and HI-EMT
Why I especially want to help women
Almost every woman who books tells me a version of the same thing: "I just feel heavy and I don't know why." We're used to being told it's normal, or that it's in our heads. Fluid retention, post-surgical swelling, perimenopausal puffiness and post-natal recovery are all real, and all respond to drainage.
I run a quiet, private, owner-led studio — never a busy salon floor — because feeling comfortable enough to actually relax is half the treatment.

Who should speak to me first
Drainage is very gentle, but because it increases lymph flow it isn't for everyone. Please tell me before booking if you have active or recent cancer or removed lymph nodes without specialist clearance, congestive heart or kidney failure, blood clots or a clotting disorder, an acute infection or fever, uncontrolled blood pressure, recent surgery or injury in the area, broken or inflamed skin, or if you're in the first trimester of pregnancy.
